How ASCs Can Ace Patient Satisfaction
Patient ratings can help make or break an ambulatory surgery center. An orthopedic surgeon shares his top tips for ensuring satisfied consumers.

In the latest December issue of Arthroplasty Today, they published our research on, “Intraoperative chlorhexidine irrigation to prevent infection in total hip and knee arthroplasty”. During surgery, we routinely use irrigation to clean out the surgical wound. We were unable to find a difference between using chlorhexidine gluconate irrigation or dilute Betadine for total hip replacement, and saline for total knee replacement. https://www-ncbi-nlm-nih-gov.ezproxy.rush.edu/pubmed/29204500
